We have the perfect pathway set up for anyone from kids to adults.
First you need to take Learn to Skate. It is best to get the skating basics down before moving on to Learn to Play. For kids 3-5, they will sign up for Hockey Snowplow 1. Kids 6-14 will sign up for Hockey Skating Level 1. Skaters 15 and up will register for Adult Development Camp.
Next, you will move on to Hockey Learn to Play. This class requires full hockey gear. Players will learn the basics of hockey from stickhandling, skating, shooting, passing, and scrimmaging.
Then, you move on to the development league or Rec Leagues!
Full hockey gear is required for learn to play (hockey helmet, gloves, shoulder pads, elbow pads, jersey, pants/breezers, shin guards, hockey socks, skates, and stick). https://newtohockey.com/hockey-equipment-buying-guide-for-kids/
Learn to skate only requires helmet of any kind, gloves/mittens, and to dress warm!
You can make-up one missed class per session. Just email jeff@iceandfield.com when you’ll make the class up.
