2026 Summer Show

Our Saturday, August 8 dress rehearsal is a closed rehearsal. To help the rehearsal run smoothly and safely, only skaters, coaches, and authorized staff will be permitted inside the rink during rehearsal.

Arrival & Check-In

• Skaters should arrive between 11:00 AM and 11:30 AM in costume* and check in upon arrival.
• Skaters performing in the First Act should arrive fully ready to skate, including skates on, as they will take the ice shortly after rehearsal begins.
• Skaters performing in the Second Act may come out to the lobby or hallway during the ice resurface if they need assistance from a parent with costumes or preparations. Staff and volunteers will also be available in the locker rooms to assist skaters as needed.

Dismissal

Our youngest Snowplow Sam performers may be picked up during the intermission/resurface following their run-through. However, they are also welcome and encouraged to stay through the end of rehearsal to participate in the full-company curtain call at approximately 2:30 PM. Activities will be available backstage during rehearsal to help keep our youngest performers entertained while they wait.

All other skaters are expected to remain for the entire rehearsal and will be dismissed following the full-company curtain call at approximately 2:30 PM.

What to Bring

Please be sure your skater arrives with:

• ✓ Costume already on including over the boot tights (unless otherwise instructed by your coach)
• ✓ Skates (already on for First Act performers)
• ✓ Hard Guards
• ✓ A Warm Jacket or Throw Blanket (it’s cold backstage!)
• ✓ All costume accessories
• ✓ A clearly labeled water bottle
• ✓ Any required props that have been assigned to your skater

Parent Information

• This is a closed rehearsal, so family members and spectators will not be permitted inside the rink during rehearsal.
• Parents of Second Act skaters who need to assist with skate tying may do so during the ice resurface. Staff and volunteers will also be available to help in the locker rooms.
• Snowplow Sam families may pick up their skaters during the intermission/resurface following their performance, or they are welcome to stay through the end of rehearsal to participate in the curtain call. Simple backstage activities will be provided to keep them occupied between performances.
• Information regarding hair, makeup, and any costume-specific preparation will be emailed directly to Large Group participants prior to the show.
